National Legal Service day was observed in the court complex Bhaderwah with zeal and enthusiasm under the Chairmanship of Chairman District Legal Services Authority M K Sharma (Principal District and Sessions Judge Bhaderwah) Sub-Judge Bhaderwah Reenu Dogra , Special Mobile Magistrate Arun Kumar Kotwal , members of Bar Association , good number of people and litigants participated in the celebration. Speakers high lighted the aims and objectives of legal aid scheme under the State Legal Service authority act. 1997.Speaking on the occasion District Chairman, called upon the general public to make maximum use of the legal aid scheme. He also dwelled at length, upon various aspects of legal Aid and legal services in India and its historical perspective. He briefed the gathering about the different social provision of Legal Services Act and allied schemes and rules made from time to time for betterment of people.The Chairman stressed upon all the stakeholders to play their role in conveying message of legal aid schemes to the general public. SDPO Bhaderwah Brijesh Sharma was also present on the occasion .There are also reports of celebration of the day from other parts of Doda , Kishtwar and Ramban .
